  The officers at this police station are amongst the least reputable in the state. They are quick to use their status as an excuse for poor attitudes shown towards those that have come to them for help. They have a terrible reputation in the hills. They never answer their main phone line. We've had one officer yell belittling comments at a mother and then flash their badge to say "I'm a police officer I can say that" when they were told they ought not to speak to people in such a way. Absolutely terrible and an abuse of the law. Bigotry at its finest.

  Police are meant to be respected - yes. But respect is earned and not everyone wearing the blue is worthy of it. Mount Barker Police need better people, and better training.

  When someone tries calling numerous times wouldnt you answer as it is probably of somewhat importance. And they dont even have a voicemail to request a call back

  A change is long overdue. Hope to one day see the men replaced with people who openly care about protecting those in the area, and not men who are only out to get the money and use their power as an excuse.

  In 2016 had a car accident. Around Littlehampton. SA police officer was from Mt Barker police. No charges were laid. But this Kiwi MUM got suspicious about the incident overall. Discoveries GARLORE. Gang's, clever as they are infiltrating Public Service, Prisons and, Centerlink AU /NZ, Housing Commission /Corporation, and Police. Shameful incident. Well I am back. But really no better for it. Guess what Mt Barker detective 'Jack of all Trades. LOL
