  Unfortunately an all too common experience. Long wait for service, to try and help other customers in the queue I offered to fill in my personal details on required forms rather than keep the staff member busy so she could begin serving another customer. Instead of coming back to me when I was finished she kept serving the other customer so waited another 10 minutes - sorry for trying to help you get through the queue! Also was assured that the prepaid broadband device I bought could be activated within 30 minutes - I am currently on my 3rd try with Live Chat 24/7 getting it activated and being told it could still be 4-24 hours before it works, despite supposedly activating it yesterday!

  Absolutely appalled at the lack of service. Waited to receive some attention and then completely left to my own to explore the options.When I was ready to make a purchase no-one was interested in providing a service. They all seemed preoccupied on their computers, no interest in any customer service. Left the store in disgust. Telstra will not get my business and as for the Mt Barker store -good luck!!!

  Appalling service, waited to make a purchase while ALL staff were glued to computers - no other customers in store, no acknowledgement, no eye contact - felt invisible = No Sale.

  I'm sure the staff are very knowledgeable but it's impossible to get served in the store! I have been in a couple of times looking to help my Dad buy a new phone, unfortunately the staff are always so busy that after 15-20 minutes we still don't get served or acknowledged. I can see that they're busy but the number of staff members on the floor no way matches the amount of customers needing assistance.
